Little Wildcats Preschool is designed to
prepare children and families for the transition to kindergarten. We focus on pre-reading, writing, and
communication skills, number awareness, and social skills. Licensed teachers and classroom
assistants plan daily large group activities,
focused small group activities, a snack time, and individual choice time
at learning centers in the classroom. Standardized assessments are
used to insure that children are on track for school success. The Little
Wildcats Preschool curriculum is aligned with the curriculum of the
Chisago Lakes Elementary schools.
Little
Wildcats Preschool offers a 2 days/week program for
children ages 3-5 years . We also offer a
3 days/week program for children ages 4-5 years. Classes are located
both at Taylors Falls Elementary and Primary Elementary School.
Kids Club Option:
Children who are 4 years old and attending Little Wildcats Preschool
classes at Taylors Falls or Primary School may also enroll in the Kids Club School-Day
Childcare program! Childcare will be available for half-days when
children attend their Little Wildcats class, and will be available for
full-days on their non-preschool class days.
