Have a great summer!!
Dear Families of Taylors Falls Students,
Another school year is just about over. I know many students are looking forward to all the fun that summer brings.
We have just finished the MCA tests and will soon be taking our school wide tests. These tools provide us the information to better serve your children.
May will be a busy month with our Parent sponsored Reading Incentive Program, field trips and other year end activities.
During the year, many people volunteer at our school. I want to thank them for all they do. You are all valued members of our school family.
Thank you to our great parent group, the Taylors Falls Parents for Education. We could not do it without your support.
Please look forward to some dates for next fall:
Open House Wed., Aug. 30th
1st day of school Tues., Sept. 5th
All school fundraiser mid Sept.
6th Annual TF Cruise Mon., Oct 2nd
More information about these and other dates will be sent out to you in August.
Have a safe summer.
Joe Thimm,
Principal
Open House for Sharon Madison and Mary Anne Mattson

Remember, the posted speed limit on West Street is 20 mph. Vehicles need to share the road with bikes and pedestrians. Please drive carefully.
Congratulations!! To the following students who read six or more books as part of the Maud Hart Lovelace contest. They attended an Ice Cream Party on Friday, April 28 at the Dairy Queen.

For the upcoming 2006-2007 school year, Tanger Outlet Mall will once again lend its support to our area students and schools. June 2006 through April 2007, Tanger will present its annual TangerBucks for Schools fund-raising program. TangerBucks for Schools is a very simple way for our school to raise money. Tanger coupon books will be available at the Tanger Outlet for $3 or can be purchased at our Open House in August

from TF Parents for Education
The Taylors Falls Parents for Education group would like to extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to Trudy Adams, Diane Grezek, Lisa Kubicki, Shannon Lehner, Michelle Jerrard and Deb Rochel for clipping, sorting and/or bundling the Campbell's Soup Labels and Box Tops for Education throughout the school year!! This is a huge, mundane task that these 6 parents take on, but obviously extremely beneficial to the school. If you would like to become an elite member of this club and earn free money for the school by clipping, sorting and/or bundling at your convenience in your own home, please contact Trish Swenson or Dani Strenke.
Thanks again to Trudy, Diane, Lisa, Deb, Shannon and Michelle for a job very well done.
