What I like
about teaching: My goal is
for each child to experience success and to appreciate learning. Each year a new group of second graders come
together into a learning community made up of unique individuals, each with his
or her own learning styles, interests, history and hopes. My desire is to use a combination of
instructional and varied classroom methods.
I love motivating each and every child to their fullest potential.

Additional Information: On a personal note, I’ve been married for twenty nine years. Jeff and I have raised three children; Brandy Jo, Diane and Brad, who are now young adults. Like all parents we have big hopes and dreams for them. Brad is in his second year attending Dunwoody College of Technology. Our two daughters have successful careers. Diane is a Program Director and Brandy Jo is in the medical field.
Our
family enjoys our cabin in Park Rapids.
We like to fish, canoe, make s’mores by the
fireside, and listen to the evening calls of the loons.
On
a professional level, I’ve been teaching for twenty two years. I graduated with both an Elementary Education
